HDR is looking for a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager, Client Services Manager to join our Florida Water Business Group. This position can be located in our Tampa, Pensacola, West Palm Beach or Miami offices.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of large multidiscipline water and wastewater projects
  • Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently and in coordination with other project managers working for the same clients
  • Support client engagement and business development with established clients as well as developing new business
  • Work with Florida Business Group Manager and Business Development Leader to develop and implement client specific account plans
  • Participate in overall Florida business development planning and implementation
  • Drive profitability of projects and satisfaction of clients through quality work and on-budget delivery
  • Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project development to complete documents on schedule
  • Implement QA/QC procedures and HDR's culture of quality
  • Provide technical leadership during project delivery
  • Supervise large project staffs and act as mentor for less-experienced Project Managers

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with municipal water/wastewater systems process and design
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
  • PE License required; Florida PE license or ability to obtain one within six months of hire through reciprocity
  • Demonstrated business development and strategic planning skills
  • Good communication, leadership, planning and mentoring skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specialty certifications such as Project management, DBIA, Envision Sustainability Professional, or other would be preferred
  • 5 years or more of Florida market specific experience
