Join our team as a Senior Finance Analyst and become a pivotal part of our financial landscape, where your expertise will shine in analyzing and enhancing our business and financial strategies. In this role, you'll dive deep into financial and business-related analyses, assessing the impact of various projects, systems, and transactions. You'll play a crucial role in supporting the Demand Management component of Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) for the Business Unit, working closely with cross-functional teams to foster a comprehensive understanding of forecast risks and opportunities.

Your responsibilities will be broad and impactful. From conducting detailed analyses on financial performance, investment returns, and working capital, to preparing forecasts and identifying trends across various business sectors. You'll analyze profitability down to the customer, brand, and product level, and perform in-depth reviews of our full P&L and individual divisions to pinpoint risks and explain variances. Your analytical prowess will also guide the production of monthly management reports, ad-hoc financial projects, and the annual operating plan, playing a vital part in shaping our financial strategies and decisions.

What You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
  • MBA plus 2 years of Finance, Accounting, Military, Operations, Business or wine industry experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of Finance or Accounting experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of Gallo Finance or Accounting experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience with MS Excel and MS Access.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What Will Set You Apart:

  • MBA plus 4 years of Finance, Accounting, Military, Operations, Business or wine industry experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance plus 6 years Accounting or Finance experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Cost Accounting or Manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Experience with Outlook Soft.
  • Experience with MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
  • Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Experience effectively presenting information to top management, public groups and boards of directors.
  • Experience applying mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factor analysis.
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions. Experience interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and dealing with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Experience completing assignments that broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity. Has appreciable latitude for unreviewed action or decision.
  • Broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of this particular field of specialization.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $72,900 - $121,600
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
