Director of Broker Relations

As the Director of Broker Relations at Alight, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing Alight's presence and value proposition within the benefits administration, navigation, and leave management space. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key broker firms, as well as engaging with HR tech teams and panels to ensure they understand Alight's offerings and identify opportunities for collaboration. Additionally, you will oversee the management of broker client escalations to ensure timely resolution and maintain positive relationships.

Responsibilities:

1.**Broker Relationship Management:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to engage with key broker firms, including cultivating relationships with senior leaders and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with brokers to understand their clients' needs, challenges, and priorities related to benefits administration, navigation, and leave management.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for broker firms, providing ongoing support, training, and resources to ensure alignment with Alight's offerings and objectives.

2. **Engagement with HR Tech Teams and Panels:

  • Build rapport and foster relationships with HR tech teams and panels at broker firms to ensure they have a comprehensive understanding of Alight's solutions and capabilities.
  • Provide education and training sessions to HR tech teams and panels to empower them to effectively identify opportunities for collaboration with Alight and refer potential clients.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop tailored messaging and materials for HR tech teams and panels, highlighting Alight's value proposition and competitive advantages.
  • Manage panels and presentations at key broker firms to showcase Alight's value proposition, product capabilities, and thought leadership in the benefits administration, navigation, and leave management space.
  • Coordinate with internal subject matter experts to develop compelling content and presentations tailored to HR tech teams and panels' interests and needs.
  • Capture feedback and insights from panel engagements to inform product development, marketing strategies, and overall business direction.

3. **Broker Client Escalation Management:

  • Oversee the management of broker client escalations, ensuring timely and effective resolution to maintain positive relationships and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex issues, working closely with internal teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to proactively address potential issues and minimize escalations, including identifying trends and opportunities for process improvement.

4. **Business Development Support:

  • Work closely with the sales and business development teams to identify opportunities for new partnerships and revenue growth within the broker channel.
  • Provide input into the development of marketing collateral, sales pitches, and other materials to effectively communicate Alight's value proposition to broker firms, HR tech teams, and panels.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote Alight's brand and build relationships with potential partners and clients.

5. **Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or greater 5+ years of sales/distribution experience through brokers and consultants.
  • Experience working with National firms such as Lockton, AON, Gallagher, Mercer, USI, WTW, and USI. Must have experience leading teams and managing direct reports and a track record of success.
  • Broad network across the US of regional contacts and office leaders.
  • Ability to speak confidently about Health Solutions i.e. Benefits Administration in a strategic and consultative manner.
  • Entrepreneurial skills with a proven track record of building strategy for a new program
  • Advanced communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations with persistence and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated strategic leadership skills are key, with proven verbal and written communications skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
  • Selected candidate must be willing to work from home with regular travel expected (minimum 30%).

Salary Pay Range

Minimum :

102,400 USD

Maximum :

162,600 USD
