Job Description
This position is open for a Project Manager representing the Owner, managing renovation projects for retail banking centers and including the Owner's third party vendors. Must be able to read construction documents and have a good understanding of construction elements and FF&E take-offs enough to interpret Requests for Quotes and compare proposals to construction plans. The Project Manager should understand and utilize daily the online systems of record in a timely manner, manage the budget utilizing online accounting software, maintain schedule data and budget data professionally with up to date accurate entries, represent the Owner in project meetings, report project status to the Owner's upper management via PowerPoint and Excel presentations using both professional templates and your own communication skills.
The Project Manager also will write commitments to vendors, manage third party vendor deliverables as well as maintain Owner standards of construction and FF&E. Must also respond immediately to satisfy online training deadlines for annual required learning, be an independent worker, respond to rapid-response queries from the Owner and management, think creatively when solving construction challenges while maintaining customer standards, and present not only challenges but also solutions to the Owner in a communicative manner providing a path to resolution. A Project Manager on this account should work well with both contractors and office staff on a team, and as a partner, have a professional attitude working in a remote home office setting, be responsible for and take ownership of project while representing the Owner in a professional manner with a high level of customer service and integrity.
