Job Summary:

As the Workday Project Manager, you'll work cross functionally to help deliver a consumer-like digital experience in Workday, reporting to the Vice President of People Capability Operations. This role will project manage a complete "Re-design" effort of key Workday modules; budgeted and sanctioned by the Executive Leadership Team. You will partner with various teams to help drive the execution and delivery schedule of Workday modules & functionalities.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Project manage the execution and delivery phases of a Workday redesign effort across multiple WD modules/functional areas including but not limited to: Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Talent Management.
  • Coordinate activities, milestones, and deliverables, across internal resources, as well as third party consulting; ensuring on-time delivery meeting customers' expectations
  • Participate in the design, build, test, and deploy phases of each "redesigned" functional module
  • Work with internal and external constituents on configuring and testing integrations and various solutions.
  • Aggregate, and sub-project status reporting, necessary to educate and inform the People Capability leadership team, as well as the executive leadership team.
  • Coordinate and track participation in all testing scenarios.
  • Help execute on set direction and communicates with a clear vision of project objectives and deliverables.
  • Ability to identify and track risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, and actions ensuring holistic diligence.
  • Help track and establish key success metrics to help evaluate the impact of various projects, improvements, other miscellaneous bodies of work.
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish workload governance around Workday enhancements/improvements. Including the establishment intake, evaluation, scoring, and impact assessment.
  • Manage and assist in establishing a governance process, as well as a continuous feedback loop for improvements.
  • Manage limited direct report resources in offshore locations
  • Strong ability to deliver executive-ready reports and statuses, with limited to little guidance.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 8 years of Project Management exp. deploying enterprise ERP and technology systems
  • 5 years of Project Management exp. with Workday implementations/re-designs
  • 5+ years of professional experience in HR systems
  • Exhibits exceptional communication and facilitation skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of the following: Benefits Cloud Connectors, CCW, EIB, DT's, XML/ XSLT, PICOF, and Workday STUDIO custom integrations, BI tools
  • Thorough knowledge of industry tools and methodologies used in support of project and program management.
  • Familiarity with US and Global data privacy laws, GDPR and Sarbanes Oxley compliance
  • Previous experience with end to end Workday Implementations
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to understand resourcing requirements relative to effort, and help guide resource management resources at a high level
  • Remote position with flexibility to travel up to 15% domestic/international
  • Ability to work at his/her own direction and balance competing priorities and customer needs
  • Demonstrated strength in executive communications around status, risks and plans, with excellent verbal and written communications.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree in related field a plus.
  • PM certification preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
